Armstrong World Industries has spent decades tracking how its materials are sourced, reused, and carried forward. Our job was making that reporting easier to follow—and more interesting to read.

We pulled stories out of dense reporting data: ceiling tiles reclaimed from demolition projects, or manufacturing scrap turned into colorful resin partitions used in schools, hospitals, and offices.

The stories were already there. We reorganized the reporting around them so readers could better understand what the material was, what it became, and the work it took to get there.
